Leyland is a town in the South Ribble district of Lancashire, England. The town is located approximately 6 miles south of the city of Preston and 25 miles northwest of Manchester. Leyland is known for its history of commercial vehicle manufacturing, and the Leyland Motors company was based in the town for many years.
